A public meeting will be held at 7.00pm on 4th February 2019, at the Ruapehu Community Arts Centre, Hakiaha St, Taumarunui to answer the following three questions:
- Where is the money from the sale of The Memory Bank building?
- Where are the photographic archives?
- Where to from here – an introduction to KCET
Founder of The Taumarunui Museum Trust, and local historian Ron Cooke will be available to answer questions.
The meeting will be conducted by KCET’s CEO, Dennis A. Smith who will speak briefly about himself, then going through his book OFF THE RAILS!! The Taumarunui Museum Trust UNMASKED!! in summary form, then opening the meeting to questions and/or comments from the floor.
A limited number of books will be available for purchase on the night with orders taken for collection from Harland Graphics in the next days.
Sorry, no food or refreshments will be available but equally there will be no requests for financial support nor requests for attendees to volunteer on any committee either!
